FLORIA 2011

Last year on the 9th to 17th July, I went to one great exhibition! actually, during that time i was doing my practical at Cruise Tasik Putrajaya. So i was worked around Floria exhibiton at Persint 2 for promoting Cruise Tasik Putrajaya booth. For the whole days of exhibition, i was there from the morning until late night. Even though I am working more than 8 hours but i enjoyed the exhibition. So many things i experienced and also learned from the exhibition. The event was a bigger crowd and some interesting participants from local and international.

The Putrajaya Flower & Garden Festival also known as Putrajaya Floria was organised by  Perbadanan Putrajaya (Putrajaya City Council) with the support of the Ministry of Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing. Themed  ‘Roses are Forever’,  a total of 12,000 roses of various types, 400 000 flowers, herbal plants, wild trees and ornamental landscape plants will be exhibited and used in the floral arrangements, garden and landscape designs and decorations of the festival. There were over 100 stalls while over 500,000 people were visited this flower festival here in Putrajaya.

At the Floria Putrajaya 2011 event, I enjoyed walking and snapped pictures of the creations of flora and also I was amazed with some of the designer creations which are housed in the air conditioned tents. Apart from these, there were also vendors selling orchids and flowers while a number of stalls selling horticulture related items. Also to make things interesting, there are craft, clothes, art, food and drinks stalls available at the event grounds.

Because of I am worked at Cruise Tasik Putrajaya booth, our booth is beside the lake because we gave 50% off for 20 minutes cruise. The crowds who went there can also enjoyed the scenery of Putrajaya by ride the cruise. At night, there were some interesting show which are the boats parade with beautiful and colourful lights and also the fireworks before end of the night around 10 pm.
